we turn our attention toward each other, the more-than-human life around us, and the stories that shape how we see and co-create the world.

we gather around questions the way we'd gather in a meadow or by a river; we sit,,, write,,, listen,,, explore. and as with any place, given enough of our presence, what is true begins to reveal itself :: in us, between us, and around us.

the systems we live inside, from our economies and institutions to our built environments and our connection to the land, are woven from relationships, and from the stories we tell about them. if we can change how we relate, over time we change what we’re able to build. we're starting small and local as that is where reciprocity is learned, and where systems that nurture life begin.

field notes ((•)) believes the depth and quality of our questions shape the depth and quality of our lives. trace any of our questions back far enough, and you'll find the same root: what else is possible?
