WHAT IS FIELD NOTES?

field notes (()) is an ecosystem of experiences::conversations that bring people into closer relationship with themselves and the core essence of the world through the exploration of other's lenses/stories/perspectives;

It is a presencing, a portal, an intro + deepening of a way of being

It is a space to gather around intellectually and philosophically stimulating topics + discussion, and anchor our curiosities back down into our emotional and relational centers

It is a re-implication with the immediate world around us: our communities, interpersonal relationships, land, systems, materials, and narrative structures

WHAT IS IT FOR?

To deepen our shared understanding and innovate on core belief systems, which are the source of our built environments and the systems that structure our lives.

A reminder of the malleability and magic of reality, revealed through:

WHAT DOES IT BELIEVE?

**That this, our world, is changing and will continue to change; that our task is to adapt in direct relationship with these changes

**That we can and are already shaping these relationships with each other, ourselves, and our built and inherited environments

**That being in conversation with + aware of our place in the evolution/lineage of our continual becoming is a life-affirming and empowering experience

**That language - written, oral, auditory, and visual – are our most powerful tools in co-creating a world together

**That resensitizing ourselves to the narratives, stories, and models we hold helps us to expand our aperture of possibility and reinstills a personal and collective sense of agency in shaping new ones

WHAT DOES IT WANT?

*To open minds and hearts toward WHAT ELSE IS POSSIBLE?

*To restore faith in people's capacity to enact change at every layer of reality

*To empower people through connection, witnessing, and shared discovery

*To re-initiate people into The Dance of life <3
